    Slight improvement

25.10.2011: J. felt powerless in the morning, tired, very weak, he felt nauseous/bad, exercises were exhausting, spine very, very stiff, but still a mobility of 15°, at the log the exercises were better, after lunch his condition was better, the execution of the exercises was better, more controlled, in the evening pain in the right thigh, at 20:45 no pain after taking a pain pill.

10/26/2011: J. felt better, more powerful, right leg getting stronger, more control/confident when walking, left leg has become even weaker, cramp in right leg during the day but mobility is getting better, pain in thigh/ less in back, releasing muscles is not as painful.

Since I know that YOU support J., I am also in my everyday life again more powerful, more confident, full of hope 🙂
I THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for this valuable help …
    Greetings to all LOVE
    C.

    Home again

On 10/29/2011, I have now taken J. home so that he can do the exercises at home on his own. Discharge from the hospital was with the awareness of having to return to the hospital after approximately 1 week. Since then, alternating pains in the buttocks, calf, back, groin have accompanied him; also cramps in the hand, toes, calf. Walking without crutches is not yet possible. Furthermore, he has to take painkillers.

Since we don’t have a tatami/futon yet, he has to sleep on the floor, which causes him hip/back pain. Sleeping on the mattress would be counterproductive according to the packi/physiotherapist.

The right leg is getting stronger, foot jack weakness is still present. The left leg becomes weaker. Overall, standing has become more stable. He is also making progress with the exercises. However, a back mobility of 45° to the rear must be achieved.

Increase in strength - less painkillers

From Sunday, 30.10. until Saturday 05.11. J. was now at home and tried to do the exercises on his own. Yesterday (Sun., 06.11.) I drove him again to the clinic in Bad Krozingen to set stronger exercise stimuli.

Since Thursday, 03.11.2011, he has significantly more strength in the right leg; the left leg is also getting stronger. Partially, a short walk without crutches is possible, although still a bit wobbly.
The dose of painkillers could be dosed down. Nevertheless, pain in the coccyx area and alternating pain in the thighs, calves, arms, feet; sometimes accompanied by short cramps.

Last week he was able to organize so many things at home: Order of a new sleeping system (tatami, futon) and log (this is important to practice at home as in the clinic) 🙂 This is important for his further recovery.

    A long way

Phone call with J. on 07.11.2011, 20:45: He felt lousy during the day, had more pain again due to the exercises in the clinic, including in his buttocks. He wants to return home on Wednesday because of the cost … The cost and recovery pressures are enormous!!! I hope he holds out?!
