The beauty of Reiki is its simplicity, for every human being.
The hands of a participant are sensitised to Reiki by the Reiki Master in 4 “activations” during the Reiki seminar. This is a metaphysical process that can be traced back to Dr. Mikao Usui. The origins of this method remain unclear. Indications imply that people were already able to attain access to this phenomenon thousands of years ago.
It is doubtful that people could gain access to Reiki without the Reiki Initiation. This statement is based on the observation of Reiki’s characteristics that appear during treatment. The sum of these characteristics appears to be solely observable in Reiki. Whether it is possible or not to acquire Reiki spontaneously is irrelevant, because it can be said with certainty that the process traceable to Usui functions in all people at all times.
The seminar is rich with moments of experience and many applications are practised on oneself and other participants. Additionally, a wide range of advice and numerous insights are presented. Individuals from teenage to the very highest age can participate in seminars; the state of health is on principle not a criterion. For children between the age of 6 and 12 there are special seminars.
