M. W. is 89 years old, fell at home on 28.01.2016 and broke his left upper arm in the process. In the hospital she was given a lot of painkillers, which additionally spoiled her stomach and made her vomit.

ComplicationsShe is not doing so well, as the arm fracture has now slipped and surgery is needed after all. About the surgery, the doctors want to consult tomorrow.
She has stomach problems and constipation from all the pills. And she’s not in a good place nervously. She wants to get out of the hospital, has no more patience. She sleeps there very badly to not at all. She lacks the courage, the strength and the calmness and composure that everything will turn out well for her again.

Final feedbackMy mother is not well yet. She still has pain in her arm and is still taking pain medication. She is housed with my father in a tiny room in the nursing home and she is totally dependent on the caregivers. She needs help going to the bathroom, getting into bed…. She is despondent, weak. She is cold, dependent on the help of others…
