It was on a Thursday evening last November, my daughter (10) and I were coming home by car. We got out of the car, I closed the car door and walked around the car. Everything as usual. Suddenly my daughter shrieked loudly and she began to cry extremely. She had jammed her index finger while slamming the car door. We quickly ran over to the apartment. Only then did I see that the blood was dripping onto the floor. The pain seemed almost unbearable. Then in the bathroom she held her finger under the cold water and I held her in my arms during that, my hands on her body. I held my hands alternately to her head as well, one hand on her forehead and the other on the back of her head. Since my daughter also has Reiki, she was able to give herself additional Reiki as best she could. She calmed down compared to before, very quickly. The wound stopped bleeding so much and I was able to put a band-aid on it. I continued to give Reiki to my daughter. The shock was deep.
Nevertheless, she slept very well. The next morning, she was already feeling much better, as was her finger. The wound was no longer bleeding and the shock was practically digested.
I have to say that my daughter is very sensitive to pain and the injuries incl. shock usually last longer.
The wound healed very quickly. The finger remained blue for a while.
Reiki has harmonized with love and care my daughter. The first aid phase with Reiki, physically as well as emotionally, shortened by quite a bit.
