My almost 98 year old mom was admitted to the hospital on Sunday because of her pulse (35). During the night from Sunday to Monday, her condition worsened.
I have been treating her with Reiki for 2 days now, but I would like some help from you guys, whether it is to help her regain her strength, or to help her let go, or whatever is best for her.

My mom knows what Reiki is, my son, my husband and I have sent her Reiki many times. However, she doesn’t know anything about the existence of an emergency chain and I couldn’t explain it to her at the moment due to her condition.

Up and downAfter quite hopeless days in the hospital, yesterday there was a definite improvement in my mother’s condition. She was less confused, her pulse was relatively stable, she could swallow and eat a little. Unfortunately, it was worse again today.

No longer in the hospitalFirst, thank you for your help. My mom has been back in the retirement home since yesterday and no longer in the hospital. Physically, she is certainly better, she can speak more clearly again, she can swallow again. The only thing that is not good: she is still confused, but, it seems to me, not unhappy. Possibly it is only difficult for the relatives to cope with the new state of confusion, because my mother was completely clear-headed until her hospitalization.
Thanks for the 2 weeks of help. Perhaps we can celebrate her 98th birthday with her on June 10.

Still weak, but no longer confusedThanks again for your help!
Yes, my mother is still weak, but hardly confused anymore, eats (not always, but sometimes) with appetite and feels well taken care of and cared for. I also don’t sense any fear of dying in her. It is clear to us – even to her – that it is coming to an end, we can talk about it and do not feel terror. I think she will eventually fall asleep, as she wishes.
