In continuation to the internship in Berlin (see Cooperation: Reiki in the Health Care System) we were invited to conduct a study in a drug center in Central Switzerland. It was accompanied by scientific guidance. The project leader reports in this video interview.
A group of Swiss gain experience in the public hospital (Unfallkrankenhaus – UKB) in Berlin. They intend to introduce Reiki in the public health system and in enterprises in Switzerland. In 2004 the German Federal National Court came to a conclusion which was to be significant for all of Europe. (The Bundesverfassungsgerichts-Entscheid allows Reiki without advanced training; it must be stated that Reiki does not substitute school medicine and no pomises of healing is made.) Similar ramnifications should result from the law passed by the Nicaraguan national assembly in which alternative medicine is equalled to traditional western medicine. In June 2015 a study to research the effectiveness of Reiki in breast cancer patients starts. The professional associations ProReiki conducts the series with the help of experienced practitioners. The results will be published in peer reviewed scientific journals.
