Stabilization

Period: 21.11.2014 - 22.12.2014
Protocol entries: 2
Area(s): Alzheimer / Dementia / Parkinson

(This case already has a history; see Dementia symptom and Pneumothorax – danger to life).

E. is 89 years old and suffers from nightmares and possibly hallucinations. She often can’t find the toilet or doesn’t know how to use it. Possible vascular or Levy body dementia. But it hasn’t been seriously diagnosed yet. We are hoping for pseudodementia. It is otherwise almost fully oriented. Z. She is currently in the geriatric department in Hanau for diagnosis and therapy.
She is initiated in Reiki 1 and accepts Reiki very well. Stabilization physically and mentally is important. Confidence and joie de vivre. She is still bright and interested, but is afraid. Because it recognizes the situation. Actually atypical for dementia. She needs to get the right diagnosis and then get the right help.

    Alternating

    E. seems to stabilize again since the beginning of Reiki inpatient help. Last week, however, she fell four times and then was very unsteady. In addition to mental stabilization, physical stabilization is also important.
We are very grateful and ask for extension of stationary help.

  • 22.12.2014
    End of inpatient assistance

    E. is a little more stable since last week, the confusion is somewhat alleviated and there are always quiet nights, like today. Thank you for the help!
These treatments may need to be activated every now and then. There is still no clean diagnosis, but only vague, suspected dementia. I’ll stay tuned.
