Parkinson’s disease: risk of suffocation in paralysis

Period: 20.05.2012
Area(s): Neurology

A woman in her 50s with a lucid mind but a paralyzed body in a wheelchair (tube fed). The head nurse of the clinic reported the following:I would like to greet you from Mrs. X.., with whom I have almost daily contact due to work and thus experience first-hand how her condition is stabilizing. Speech and mobility have improved noticeably. She also got over a flu-like infection with bronchial involvement well – certainly also because she was able to cough up well. I hardly dare to imagine what it would have been like without Reiki, she used to swallow constantly and at the slightest occasion – this has also decreased to a large extent.
