Horse initiation – long live pacifism!

The request of the horse owners: It is about F., our 27 year old Freiberger gelding, he is not only old and wise, he has Arthorse and is also a pacifist! Today, things got hectic again at feeding time and he was so harried that he slipped on the all-weather court (a court with interlocking stones) and stayed down. R. and I then moved him over the back to the other side, where he was able to stand up with the momentum of rolling over the back. I think it would be very important for F. to get the Reiki initiation.

Interjection from my son:
How can an initiation help a horse when it is being bullied by the others? I told him that I couldn’t really answer that, but imagine that it’s like us humans, maybe somewhere the self-confidence grows and the environment senses that.

Report of the horse owner:
During the inauguration:….when I think that F. got a very negative notice from a veterinarian regarding osteoarthritis…. Yesterday during the inauguration I knew that F. is a fighter and a fighter for his quality of life – is there anything better!

4 weeks after the inauguration: a lot has happened since F. received the inauguration. The first morning after at feeding he stopped and ate together with U. from the same container, not long, but always towards. Then somehow everything was as usual, but just somehow. When I asked R. if he noticed any change, he spontaneously said that F. looked very beautiful immediately after the initiation, R. even noticed that even the coat got more shine. His environment has expanded and this is perceived by the horses, some uncertainty arose among the other 3 horses.

Then on Saturday as a result of a stupid movement and dodging by F. something happened in his movement sequence, he lifted his back left leg enormously and so I immediately went to him and treated him with Reiki, then I called R. and we then led him into the integration box. The doctor immediately sent his assistant, but she couldn’t say anything specific either, he obviously didn’t have any pain, because he ate quite naturally, only he couldn’t walk well, he limped badly. Maybe pinched a nerve. It was obviously not the kneecap, because this can dislocate in horses and after some time again dislocate, actually painless, it acts ‘only’ mechanically disturbing. In any case, no obvious injury, no warm spots on the whole leg, on the whole musculoskeletal system. I know an osteopath, I then called him and he came on Saturday evening, he has treated F. before for his arthorse and so it happened again, he got everything flowing we continued to separate him and he even went into his stall on his own.

But what was simply ingenious is: F. often used to stand with one front hoof on the other, I could hardly look at that, because I was so afraid that if he with his clumsiness could lose his balance and fall down, he often fell down. But now I always say to him, ‘so you Reikian, that’s great when you give yourself Reiki’ and above all I feel good. I continue to treat him with Reiki, the doctor and the osteopath know that.

You do not know how wonderful it is for me that F. got the initiation, I am convinced that his Reiki and my treatments bring a lot in flow, of course also with me, because F. is already 27 and I can not prevent anything but I can come into balance and I know that he is simply in good hands with his Reiki and he and I can celebrate our time together. His environment has thus expanded to include me, I give him more leeway, have much more confidence that he is already doing it right.

And this morning: F. is just incredible, the gate was open and he was with the other horses. This happened before, but then we only had him separated from the other horses with a band (at that time there was a mare and a gelding that strongly disrespected and maltreated him), and always in the morning he stood with them, he had to develop a technique that he could pass under the band. So then I went to the horses that somehow don’t go that close to Farino anymore, opened his gate all the way and he went (not very pleased, but he went) back to his stall.

During feeding time it is just hectic, so we continue to leave him alone during feeding time, then with the horses together when we are there or of course on the eide, there he can move very well together with the horses and the last few days they were so always together. That he goes alone into his box I perceive so that he realizes that he can eat and sleep there in peace, so as a good sign that he can open the gate is certainly to be attributed on the one hand to our not correctly closed gate and his urge to be with the horses.
