Married in 1980 René and Mischa have lived in various countries. In 1985 their son Pablo was born in Hong Kong, followed by Thassos in 1986. (Both have had and used Reiki since the age of four and five respectively.) Since 1987 their summer residence has been on Sikinos, an island in Greece.
Mischa and René have been Reiki Masters since the autumn of 1992, when, having changed jobs and careers, they dedicated their whole lives towards spreading this harmonizing energy. Sharing the job equally, they teach courses in all degrees in Europe (Switzerland, Germany, Norway, Greece) and also in Asia. They are operating under the name reiki-international and since 1995 they are also training Masters.
Both were long time members and holding seats in the presidency of The Reiki Network. In 2010 they founded their own organisation with two partners: RIO Reiki International Organisation and René became co-founder of ProReiki . He also partook in in-besten-Händen and in 2018 he co-founded the European Reiki Group ERG. In 2017 he started his re-conciliation project reiki-conciliation. Since 2020 he has his own talk-show RTalk.
The logo stands for the base of values being authenticity, spirituality, dedication and self-love. Furthermore, it expresses respect towards duality as well as holism. It points to all four corners of the earth and symbolizes the vision to spread Reiki internationally for individual and global healing.
