Talking, walking again after stroke … even drive a car

On August 20, we received a call for help that E.S. was in the hospital with a stroke. With the emergency chain, 30 helpers were immediately mobilized, ensuring that the patient received all-round Reiki care. Free of charge and efficient. After that, E.S. asked to be admitted to the inpatient program. There now send him 7 helpers who have committed to send at least 10-12 Reiki in 14 days. A paid service.

E.S. describes his situation: “Stroke with the cause atrial fibrillation. Consequences: Ataxia right, leg and arm, voice gone, vocal fold paralysis right, swallowing difficulties, double vision, disturbed balance (right twist). 15 days acute hospitalization, treatment in clinic by physio-, logo-, occupational therapists, first wheelchair, then rollator.”

His feedback to the emergency chain responders, “…no more walker, double vision and the other symptoms are much better but still balance problems and voice limitation.”

Direct referral to rehab followed and the following feedback: “…my voice is already much better, my balance too and I have the feeling that I am being carried by many kind hands and thoughts. It still needs a little work, especially the balance, but I think it will be fine.” We stay tuned.

On October 13, E.S. wrote: “Yesterday I drove a long distance by myself for the first time again and I feel confident in assessing difficult situations and the reactions to them. I think that your help has helped me a lot in recovering, also that it happened so quickly. Many thanks again to you and your group.”
