    Much better

I just received an email from E. with an interim report:
“… I thank you very much for your help and support in getting healthy – my voice is already much better, my balance too and I have the feeling that I am carried by many kind hands and thoughts. It still needs a little work, especially the balance, but I think it will be fine.
    Many thanks to all helpers
    Yours E.S.”

    Stay tuned …
    Thank you.

    Conclusion

I would like to thank you very much for your help.
The first days in the hospital were characterized by helplessness. Automatic movements were suddenly out of control: “Sign here.”…. Fiddlesticks! Scrambling like chicken yard. Not washing alone because of the tendency to fall, in a wheelchair to the bathroom. That’s when RIO emergency assistance came in. Walking gradually got better, I could get around with a rollator. But again and again it pulled me to the right. The apoplexy was in the cerebellum and medulla oblongata and affected the right side, including the right eye.
After 15 days in the clinic, I went to the rehabilitation hospital. There they worked even more intensively on the symptoms and with your support I was able to return the rollator after 10 days. I was still moving a little shakily, but the doctors said my improvement was very rapid. My voice improved (vocal fold paralysis on the right), my signature was my signature again and everyone was happy with me. Me too, of course, as I was more identical to myself again. At the end of 5 weeks of rehab, I left the clinic walking upright. I pulled my suitcase myself, still had double images in the distance and now and then the train to the right.
Yesterday I drove the car again for the first time and feel confident in assessing situations and reactions. I mean that your help helped me a lot in getting healthy, also that it was so fast. E.S.
