A few years ago I had to undergo a major tumor operation in my abdomen. Several organs in the abdomen were affected, including my left kidney. The surgeon removed part of my kidney including. Adrenal gland. I treated myself daily with Reiki I before and after surgery. Subsequently, 6 additional surgeries were performed due to complications (intestinal obstruction due to severe adhesions). I hardly think I would have come through all these surgeries so well without Reiki I. In June 08, I was admitted to the hospital again because of severe pain. The left kidney was no longer functioning and the surgeon revealed to me that the kidney would have to be removed. There is little hope of saving them, he said. My first thought after this message was, ‘I’m not giving my kidney away!’ I then treated myself intensively with Reiki I in the hospital – the kidney certainly 10 times a day. Then I left the hospital at my own risk. On the day of my discharge, the doctor came to me and tried to change my mind about the operation. His words, ‘When you come back, and you will come back, there will be no more examinations, then surgery will be done right away.’
The fact is, I still have my kidney and it works. The surgeon can’t understand it, but it is so, and I think with Reiki I did it.
I hope the report gives all Reiki practitioners another incentive to use Reiki daily.
