Leukemia

Period: 22.11.2012 - 10.12.2012
Protocol entries: 3
Area(s): Cancer, Chemotherapy

My dad has leukemia and his blood counts are getting ominously bad. My dad’s name is M.R., he was born on 24.09.1938.
He lives in Hamburg.

Tomorrow, on Thursday he will get a port inserted in the hospital (St. Marien-KH in HH). Then on Friday he will have his first chemo infusion at his doctor’s office (which is supposed to take about 6 hours). Diagnosis: old age leukemia, unfortunately also bad kidney values. Right now he is pretty rickety on his feet and they are trying to get him back on his feet.
That was the info my ma gave me yesterday.

It would be so very sweet if he could get the support of the RIO emergency chain for his recovery. I asked again explicitly if he agreed with that as well. He accepts all the help he can get.

A.R., M.R.’s daughter is a Reiki II student of mine who has treated her father with Reiki in the past.
Of course she will continue to send Reiki to her father, …that is a matter of honour for her.

    First chemo well overcome

Thank you for your support for my father M. R. He came through his first chemo treatment well and was allowed to go home last Tuesday. I went to see him on Monday. However, it still looked very rickety to me then. His appetite is poor, and of course he is not really fit yet.

But at least he had a healthy complexion on Monday and was eager to get back home. My father and my whole family would appreciate your continued support in his recovery. He can use every boost and still has a long way to go.

    Thank you very much
    A.

These lines have reached me today from A..
Best regards and all the love,
    C.

    Interim feedback

Today I talked to C. on the phone, M. R. is doing quite ok. We are expecting more detailed feedback soon, I will let you know as soon as possible.

    M. is admitted to the Reiki stationary program where he receives further Reiki care.

    Thanks to all of you
    D.

    Still very weak

The following feedback reached me today from A., M. R.’s daughter:

Now about my father’s situation: My father survived his first chemo well at the end of November and was discharged home after 3 days. His doctor then rechecked his blood work, which was mostly in the acceptable range. Only one value is not particularly good. Since this whole situation is quite new and unfamiliar for my parents and for me, I unfortunately can’t say what the value is.
He will receive his next chemo on 12/21/2012 and hopefully will be home just before Christmas. He can urgently use any support, as he is still very wobbly on his feet and gratefully accepts any help.

I am still a novice when it comes to distance Reiki, having received my 2nd degree only a little less than a month ago, but I try to support it with all my strength.
