I would not have expected that

The father of a good friend was seriously ill with cancer and had no long prognosis for life. The doctors gave him only a few more weeks.
I had done a few Reiki treatments with her myself, but to give someone the full transmission to treat others, I usually wait a while first. So I feel that my students can separate well between their own needs and what they sense in others.
After one treatment, I woke up in the morning with a strong feeling that the time had come and that she absolutely needed the first and second Reiki degrees to be able to help her father.
We reserved the weekend, but I realized after the first session that we probably wouldn’t make it to the second degree.
So I gave her the transmission necessary for the first Reiki degree and advised her to see to it that she herself remains stable and to do the exercises every day, as far as it was possible for her. After ten days she called me and told me that her father had now died earlier, but she came just in time to accompany him. Reiki had really helped her and her father had also become very calm through the laying on of hands and could breathe much more freely. Overall, she felt that it was a very peaceful farewell for the whole family and was really grateful.A quote that I found very nice in the context was “Reiki can really what and although I thought it would give energy, it has made things in this context just very light. “The place on top of her father’s head was still very warm an hour after his death.
