Treasure hunt on the balcony

Raindrop Diamond

It’s Sunday morning, a good week before Christmas. A wonderful peace prevails.

There’s snow outside, I’m standing on the balcony and enjoying it a lot. Part of my morning ritual always includes to greet the day on the balcony. A quiet, contemplative moment and I keep experiencing little wonderful moments. A few weeks ago, it had rained a lot and autumn had moved in, the leaves on the ground. At first, everything seemed rather sad.

But then I discover a diamond. A diamond on the balcony? On a withered leaf in the pot of a plant, a drop of water had collected. It was shining like a diamond. So clear, unconditionally beautiful. I had to take a picture. And to pass it on to others. On Facebook, yes, not everything is good, on Facebook I mean. But I shared the diamond there and it seemed to have given many people great pleasure. Is not nature full of wonders in every season? Back to today. And back to the quiet. Church bells ring from afar, a bird of prey is circling.

Actually, I have a lot of pland ahead of me today, but I retire with a nice little book on the sofa. The book is already several years old, “Hello dear god, this is Anna”. It starts with, “The difference between a human and an angel is easy. Most of an angel is inside, and most of a human being is outside “. Hmmm. A 5-year-old girl says these words. She is a little angel herself. We were all 5 years old, we are all little angels, and always carry this angel in us.

May the angels accompany us throughout this year. And show us the many little pleasures again and again. Diamonds are everlasting :).

Namaste.
